About this product

Magnetic-Base & Roadside Flashlights

The most useful feature on a working torch is not an output mode. It is a magnet strong enough to hold the light on a wing, a panel or a wheel arch so both hands are free, because the alternative is holding a torch in your teeth.

The magnet has to be specified rather than assumed. A weak magnet slides down a painted panel under the torch’s own weight, especially on a curved surface or in the cold, and one that has slid twice is never trusted again. We quote a holding force, and we recess and rubber-cap the magnet so it does not mark paintwork — which is what gets a torch banned from a workshop.

A side flood panel matters as much as the head. Once the torch is stuck to a panel, the beam from the end is pointing along the bodywork rather than at the work, so a side-emitting strip is what actually lights the job. A red mode is worth having for roadside use because it preserves night vision and is conventional for marking; we will state plainly that it is a work light and not a certified warning beacon or hazard lamp.

FAQ

Magnetic-Base & Roadside Flashlights: quick answers

What is the minimum order for magnetic-base and roadside flashlights?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
How strong does the magnet need to be?
Strong enough not to creep down a painted curved panel under the torch’s own weight, which is where weak magnets fail and in the cold especially. We quote a holding force rather than describing it as strong, and we recess and cap it so it cannot mark paintwork.
Is the red mode a warning light?
No, and we will not imply it is. It preserves night vision and is conventional for marking, but this is a work light, not a certified warning beacon or hazard lamp. Where a certified device is required, that is a different product and a different supplier.
